Good News! LVTC Has Won the Honorary Title of "Outstanding Unit for Employment of College Graduates in Guangxi" for 22 Consecutive Years

From News Center (Text/Photo by Tan Youling, Admissions and Employment Office) Recently, the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region issued the Notice on Releasing the 2022 List of Outstanding Units for Employment of College Graduates in Guangxi (GJXS [2022] No. 18) and LVTC was included in the list, which means our college has been granted the honorary title of "Outstanding Unit for Employment of College Graduates in Guangxi" for 22 consecutive years. LVTC is also the only national exemplary vocational college in Guangxi that has won the honor continuously since the assessment and selection of the award were launched by the Department of Education of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

In 2022, the total number and increase of college graduates in LVTC, Guangxi, and the whole country all hit a record high. Faced with the increasingly complex and severe employment situation, LVTC has always prioritized employment work, fully implemented the decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee on "stabilizing and ensuring employment", conducted many special studies, made specific plans, and put forward clear requirements. It stepped up efforts in promoting the employment and entrepreneurship of all graduates in an overall manner by adhering to the following four aspects: the high-level deployment by "top leaders", which facilitates the top-down promotion, horizontal interaction and vertical linkage to push employment, clarify responsibilities and stabilize employment; the greater advancement of "two actions", which means college leaders guide the team to visit enterprises and explore more jobs, and all faculty members help graduates to seek potential jobs to ensure employment; the strict implementation of "three-level inspection", which means an employment inspection system of telephone inspection, self-inspection of universities and cross-inspection among all schools, has been formed to strictly supervise the employment situation; the strict implementation of the "four services", which means an employment service matrix integrating "information means, online and offline recruitment, employment guidance, targeted assistance", has strengthened the guarantee of employment with comprehensive policies. With the "four adherences" approach, LVTC has made joint efforts to promote the employment and entrepreneurship of graduates in an all-round manner.

In 2022, under the strong leadership of the Party Committee of LVTC and with the concerted efforts of all departments and secondary schools of LVTC, a total of 135 enterprises were visited to explore more job opportunities for the 2022 graduates, and LVTC signed internship base agreements with more than 50 enterprises to build employment and internship bases, and it also signed talent supply framework agreements with many local human resources and social security bureaus and industrial parks. In addition, the college held 12 online and offline mutual selection job fairs, 179 employment meetings, and 637 online enterprise recruitment sessions for 2022 graduates, attracting 1,551 employers to recruit at the college and providing more than 16 jobs on average for each graduate.

According to the statistics, as of August 31, 2022, LVTC had 4,713 graduates in the year 2022, with a graduation destination rate of 89.71% and a key group graduation destination rate of 90.85%. Among the 2022 graduates, 32.48% decided to earn a higher degree, 3.95% signed up for the military, and 0.25% intended to start a business. Nearly six out of ten graduates chose to work in Guangxi, representing 58.07%, effectively serving the local economic development. The satisfaction rate of employers and graduates both exceeded 93%; all employment indicators of LVTC ranked among the top in Guangxi.

Going forward, based on the comprehensive summary of the graduates' employment work in 2022, LVTC will carefully study and analyze the employment situation, proactively cope with the new situation, adhere to top-down promotion, clarify responsibilities at all levels, press ahead with enterprise visits and job seeking, broaden employment channels, and continue to improve employment services for graduates. All the employment teams will join hands to ensure and stabilize employment for graduates. They will make every effort to win a high record of graduates' employment index and satisfaction index, lead the high-quality employment of graduates, serve the local economic and social development, and push the employment of LVTC 2023 graduates to a new level.
